Tanzania Startup Week 2025 (TSW 2025) is the country’s largest startup ecosystem platform an annual, high-energy gathering of innovators, investors, policymakers, and partners united to accelerate Tanzania’s future. Co-created as an open platform with a shared agenda and shared outcomes, TSW showcases high-potential startups, forges new investment commitments, and drives policy breakthroughs, all aligned with Tanzania’s Vision 2050 ambition. In short, TSW 2025 is where innovation meets opportunity – a catalyst positioning Tanzanian startups to innovate, leapfrog, scale, compete, and globalize.

As a premier ecosystem-building event launched in 2024, TSW is co-organised by the Tanzania Startup Association (TSA) alongside key public and private partners. It is not just a one-off conference, but a collaborative platform uniting stakeholders from across sectors to drive Tanzania’s startup agenda forward. Every year, TSW provides a stage for entrepreneurs to connect with investors, corporates to discover new innovations, and policymakers to engage with the startup community in shaping supportive policy. It embodies a “shared value” philosophy – when startups thrive, everyone benefits through job creation, economic diversification, and technological advancement. TSW 2025 carries this mission forward, serving as both a showcase of Tanzania’s entrepreneurial talent and a springboard for tangible initiatives (from new funding programs to startup-friendly reforms) that will help realise the nation’s Vision 2050 goals.
